PHILADELPHIA, PA – August 2010 – In an effort to raise funds and awareness for the Kimmel Cancer Center at Jefferson Hospital, “Fight For Cure” is pleased to present the First Annual, “Ribbon Ball” on Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 9pm-12am at The Loews Philadelphia Hotel, which is located at 1200 Market St. Philadelphia, PA 19107. Attendees will gather at the spectacular event space at The Loews Philadelphia Hotel’s Commonwealth Ballroom for an evening of pure enjoyment, while showing their support for raising awareness and funds for this terrifying disease.

Featuring a “Ribbon Wall” to honor cancer survivors and memorialize those we have lost, guests will also be able to purchase their own ribbons throughout the evening, in memory or support of a loved one.

While dancing the night away to the musical entertainment, provided by Philadelphia’s own, DJ Prince T, aka Seismic, guests will also enjoy participating in the live & silent auctions that will take place during the event. Exciting prizes will include but are not limited to: an authentic Swiss Army Watch, a Philadelphia Eagles Desk Chair, a Philadelphia Phillies Pre-game Table, & an Authentic Michael Jordan Jersey, which was donated by Mitchell & Ness Nostalgia Company.
